He looked at it, at its open skull and its tattered brown coat with gore spilling over to cover every inch it could reach. There was more blood on the walls, just a few feet from the body, his blood splayed out from when it tore into his left shoulder and ripped at his forearm.
He probably looked like a mess, he felt like one at least, with hair sticking to his forehead and collarless button shirt clinging on like a second skin. Chiyo and Chiko would probably have some colorful words to call him if they ever saw. He really hopes they don't, he really hopes none of them do, it’d suck for them to see him like this.
It's not like it wasn't expected or anything, he's not special after all, getting bit was bound to happen, he always just hoped it never would.
