Summary
Padmé survives (while faking her death) and raises Luke and Leia in secret while quietly leading the rebellion against Sidious and the infamous Sith Darth Vader. She knows he's truly responsible for the multiple Jedi deaths including her husband.
The last time Padmé and Anakin saw each other was after he force-choked her on Mustafar, and though she cannot forget the fear and hatred behind his eyes, she knew that there was hope for him. Vader stole that hope away, crushed between gloved hands and an insidious shadow. Padmé leads the rebellion under the guise of change and order, but even she can’t hide from the truth: this is as much about revenge as it is a war.
Anakin Skywalker's dead for all intents and purposes. The name means nothing now. Anakin was the chosen one, set to bring balance, and with his death came only destruction and agony. It had cost him the only thing that mattered: Padmé, his everything. The demise of this rebellion is the only thing distracting Vader from the pain he faces every day. The hate he feels towards their disguised leader, someone fluent in political ideology as well as combat, is now his driving force of energy. He will kill them; one way or another.

Kenobi, Anakin loathes to say it, has been one of the most helpful in Anakin’s recovery. He treats Anakin no differently than before, and where even Boba shies away from touching the metal limb, Kenobi gives it not a second thought.
But he is a Jedi, Anakin reminds himself. Jedi will only help you if it is convenient to them, and then they’ll leave you in the sand.
Jango shifts in his seat. “You have a mission to prepare for, Jedi. You should go.” He keeps his eyes trained on Anakin despite how his words are aimed at Kenobi.
The Jedi blinks and straightens in his seat, “Oh, yes, yes I suppose I should.” He stands as gracefully as he can given the less than polite dismissal. “I’ll see you when I return then, Anakin,” he bows his head and leaves without another word.
Anakin says nothing and stares down at his open arm. The words are there on his tongue, trying to pry his lips apart: How did you know Qui-Gon Jinn?
