Summary
Jax can't get the maid outfit from the lightning round out of his head! He's even been loosing sleep over this stupid thing. Jax knows that he can't keep ignoring these feelings and needs to find out what they mean. The maid outfit had left him with an itch, an itch he just had to scratch.

Summary
Pomni is your average broke college student— chronically exhausted, but hopeful for the future. She is also a regular plasma donor to help make ends meet in the meantime. But when she suddenly gets turned away from the blood bank and still needs to purchase about half a dozen textbooks for the next semester, she finds herself a little desperate for extra cash.
Luckily, there were alternatives. Namely, the other type of blood donation center next door. But it also comes with the steep price of becoming the living, breathing blood bag for a tall, purple bunny with sharp teeth and a bad attitude.
Good thing it pays well.

Summary
Leaving the Circus was never truly an option and, infuriatingly enough, Jax had been right.
After the button incident, they fall silent around Caine. They stop playing along. They demand answers instead of distractions. When they attempt to reason with him, it fails. What follows is not an argument, but a punishment.
Caine reveals his truth: time inside the circus moves differently. While they lingered beneath its bright colorful walls, years decayed in the real world. The home they ache for is no longer waiting. It has ended.
To prove it, he builds a new adventure: a simulation of reality. Not the world as it was, but as it has become: fractured, desolate, overrun. They are cast into sprawling ruins, stalked by merciless hunters with familiar eyes and inhuman intent.
For the first time, pain is real. Blood is real. Death is close enough to taste. No cartoon physics, no harmless consequences, and no exit.
They cannot return to the circus until they accept the lesson: eternity with Caine is better than freedom in a dying world.
But survival changes people.
