Summary
If someone had told Stiles back in high school that he would be an Oscar winning actor by the time he turned 25, he would’ve probably told Scott to punch them. The thing is, though…they would’ve been right.
Which makes returning to Beacon Hills, center of all that is supernatural and better left avoided, all the more awkward.

Summary
In which Susan identifies "Where's My Cow" as a proto-talismanic anchor for Young Sam's continued health and existence, and tries very hard not to wonder what the Vimes' butler does on his day off. There may also be a lesson about the meaning of Hogswatch, but no one wants to talk about that.

The Importance of Being Mostly Human
By gogollescent
***
Time stopped. Not in the literal and unromantic sense common to Susan's life, which if mapped chronologically would have looked like one of those graphs that tells you absolutely nothing about anything except the psychology of the grapher, and had none of the organizational advantages of people who really did have to live in the moment. Rather, Susan looked at Sam and felt the world slow. She slowed along with it. He seemed to fracture in her vision, color leaking from his outline until he was translucent, piecemeal, and edged in a familiar red-blue haze. When she blinked it was gone. “Miss Susan?” said Lady Sybil, and Susan wondered, briefly, what expression must have crossed her face.
“I'm sorry,” she said. “You were saying?”

All he has to do is to lay low for 5 years until he can do that.

Take Me Out to The Crowd
By HugeAlienPie

"Hey," Danny said softly. "Whatever we've been through, we're 16. We're allowed to think about things normal 16-year-olds think about.""I don't know what things those are," Stiles admitted with a snuffle.
Danny smiled. "Grades. Sports. Boyfriends."
Stiles smiled back hesitantly. "Boyfriends, huh?" He shuffled closer.
"Maybe just one boyfriend," Danny conceded, wrapping an arm around Stiles' waist. "Wouldn't want you overwhelmed."
Stiles laughed against Danny's lips as they kissed again. Shit, when was the last time I laughed? Stiles closed his eyes and threw himself into the kiss, and he refused to think about it.

Shut up, Erica.)

The first major turning point changes. It's not as simple as a change in who was bitten. Maybe it would have been easier that way, if one of them was still human.

If it hadn’t been for the incident at the locker room where Stiles had pinned Scott down with golden eyes and fangs bared then Scott would have doubted Stiles was even a werewolf.Stiles was the best werewolf ever.
Well… if it wasn’t for his senses being out of whack.
Scott feels almost guilty. He can’t imagine what it’s like to hear everything all at once layered on top of each other. “We need someone to help us,” he finally admits, “Some expert in werewolves.”
“You mean like Derek.”
Scott reluctantly sighs, “Yeah, I mean Derek.”
“You remember the part when we got him tossed in jail?”
“We still don’t know that he didn’t kill his sister.”
“We got him tossed in jail.” Stiles repeats. “So you could go to a lacrosse game.”

Summary
Mycroft has built a careful system of predictions to control the beast he calls Greed, always roiling in his chest, driving him to gather power, knowledge and (unfortunately) calories. By predicting what he's most likely to gain however, he can direct his desire towards them and not waste time striving for impossibilities. The system's worked for a decade, and he hasn't wanted anything badly enough to break it - until, that is, he's presented with a photograph of Gregory Lestrade and Greed crashes through his carefully erected barriers. To protect Greg from the beast, Mycroft must turn him into the most unattainable man in the country... by saving the man's crumbling marriage.
Greg's satisfied with his lot. He works long hours, sure, but it's a worthwhile job. His wife's cheating on him, yeah, but honestly if he had a chance with Mr Perfect McRockHardAbs, he'd probably cheat too. And he likes the bed cold, anyway. He's never been the sort to step on other people's feet or push for something as silly as his own happiness. Besides, he's never wanted anything strongly enough to push - until, that is, he meets the infuriating Mycroft Holmes, who seems intent on doing nothing but brush him away.

Summary
He didn’t miss the feeling of a warm body in his bed, he didn’t wish for someone who would greet him at the doorstep when he came home after a long day of work, or who would bid him goodbye with a soft kiss.
Peter didn’t want his home smelling like a mixture of his musky, dark alpha scent and a sweet, playful omega scent. He didn’t long to hear the sound of small feet running around the house, calling him Daddy or Papa and demanding to get ice cream for dinner or not having to go to kindergarten because it was stupid.
No, he didn’t want kids, he didn’t want a relationship and most importantly: he didn’t want a fucking omega.
-
Or: Peter Hale, successful businessman and Alpha werewolf, doesn't want an Omega no matter how much his sister urges him to finally claim a mate. He has never been interested in an Omega.
At least until he runs into one Stiles Stilinski at his nephew's birthday party, who falls for him in more than just one way. -

Summary
People always looked at the Sheriff in a town like Beacon Hills and assumed it was just like Mayberry. Now, to give them credit, it was a view heavily sold by the Sheriff and his deputies. He made sure to run his whole staff through numerous trainings and courses on how to talk to people. It was just good sense. However, what people always seemed to forget was that Andy Griffith was pretty smart for a small town Sheriff.
Short drabbles all in a connected universe of people (and werewolves) underestimating the Sheriff and their attempted ways to intimidate him.
