Summary
After saving Grace and nearly dying in an alien atmosphere, Rocky lays an egg before going dormant.
Turns out being isolated for years and then nearly dying will force biological imperatives onto injured Eridians, and this one leaves Ryland Grace utterly baffled.
Aren't Eridians supposed to lay eggs in clutches? Only fused eggs are supposed to be viable, but when Grace accidentally touches the egg with his bare skin while trying to save it, that's apparently all the genetic fusion required for life to begin.
Ryland Grace skips a few steps when it comes to making a baby, and I test the limits of Eridian biology.

“I know we need a plan”, Five hissed back, stepping menacingly towards Luther. “But right now there’s an army of deadly assassins about sixty seconds away from killing us. So, unless you come up with an inspiring plan within the next sixty seconds, I suggest we keep running!”
“That’s what we’ve been doing since they started chasing us!”
“I scouted ahead”, Five continued hurriedly, turning and pointing into the darkness. “I think I found somewhere we can lose them. Or, at least enough of them to give us a fighting chance”.
Klaus groaned again, wanting nothing more than to slump down against the wall. “That’s what you said about the mall and the underground parking garage”, he whined miserably.

The therapy, the attempts to manage his PTSD, it’s not really working, and this is the case in point. What on Earth was he thinking, fleeing to Alaska? As if the lack of gods here would make Percy safe to be in a ten-mile radius of anytime he has a panic attack. His issues might stem from the world of the gods, but being in their realm, not being in their realm, it doesn’t matter. The damage was done long ago. He’s the problem now. He’s the danger.
