Vincent works at a restaurant over the summer due to his parent's complaints of him being a "Lazy bum that needs to get off his ass and work" BUT, here's the kicker. 3 weeks in he begs his boss to let him be a cook, he's sick of waiting tables because that's not what he's 'meant for' Rody agrees on one condition. Vincent has to be his 32yr old boss's dog for a day.

Dean swallows and watches Sam's eyes filling glossy with tears. He wants to shout, wants to scream no way! and stroke through Sam's hair and make all of this go away just like a bad dream or a cut or a bruise. But he knows it goes deeper than that now. People are dying. He tries to tell himself people are dying but somehow the only one on his mind's Sam. There was a time when he cared about the greater good but now... now's so different.

Sam rolls onto his back, a happy little sigh at the back of his throat. Something lands on the corner of his mouth. Something warm. Something that slides into the seam between Sam’s lips.
Sam’s eyes open. He looks up at the ceiling.
And there, suspended above Sam’s head, pressed to the ceiling, is Dean.
Or: After Sam and Dean finally fall into bed together, Sam receives a warning. Sam will do anything to prevent this terrifying, looming future, but it might just tear him and Dean apart forever in the process.
