But Xiao does consider it as one.) “You are? I’m not going to let a person run along my house and not know his name! That would be uncool.. Or however you guys say it!”
Xiao eyes glimmered. “I’m Xiao.”
Venti smiles, “That seems better! Now that I know your name and you know mine, do you want the biscuits? Like I said, I already made some earlier. The batch was a little too much for me, a fairy, to eat.”

Summary
In the years since Snezhnaya declared war on Mondstadt, the wind-borne nation has struggled to protect its citizens while producing enough machinery to sustain its forces. Soon, hope arrives in the form of reinforcements from Liyue. From the Jade Chamber Airship to the Crux Fleet of naval barges, Liyue’s forces are particularly impressive — but none as eye-catching as the renowned Adeptus Special Forces, a talented group of soldiers that specializes in using large mechanical animals for combat.
Venti is a Communications Officer for Mondstadt, where he’s responsible for relaying orders from leaders in the war room to the soldiers in the field. He’s assigned to work with the Liyue forces, and he quickly falls in love with Xiao, an Adeptus who operates a giant automaton in the shape of a garuda. Venti is the first to sneak Xiao away for a drink under the stars, but he’s also the first to hear when things go wrong and Xiao’s comms are suddenly cut off.
All's fair in love and war, and with Xiao on the front lines, all Venti can do is hope that the wind will bring his lover home.
