Summary
Merlin Emrys and Arthur Pendragon had been each other's worlds for years when tragedy strikes and Merlin dies from lung cancer. Left alone and grieving, Arthur feels like nothing will ever be the same again, no matter how hard he tries to make the world right again.
Then he receives a letter. An impossible letter that can't be there: a letter from Merlin, detailing plans to send Arthur on the trip of a lifetime around the world Merlin once explored as a kid.
As Arthur struggles through the heartbreak of losing everything dear to him, he learns things he didn't even realise he didn't know. There's scary amounts of responsibility, a lot of drinking, helping (and being helped by) people he had never even met before, as well as learning along the way that maybe life hadn't been as smooth as he thought it had, and most importantly, what it means to be himself.
And soon it becomes clear that although this is the end of an era, it may just be the start of something wonderful. -

Summary
In the light of day, Merlin began to realise that something was completely off with this suitcase when he picked it up. It was ten times heavier that it should have been if full of his own crap, and for another thing it was what his mother would describe as charcoal grey whilst his little bag was definitely more of a sort of, well, brown colour.
In which Merlin oh so cleverly picks up the wrong suitcase and disaster ensues.

Summary
At the edge of town there's a bakery called the Cookie Tin. It's usually a quiet, quaint little place with not much going on - exactly the reason Morgana loves it so much. When a hooded man enters the door on a Thursday afternoon, a normal day turns into a far from normal few months. Cue a hidden celebrity, a psychopathic ex-girlfriend, and an accident that leaves everyone shaken; and life in the Cookie Tin would never be the same again.

“I was wondering if you might come home with me.” Merlin stops mid-rant and stares at him, and then down at his panini again, and back at Arthur. This is a panini of lies and pain. He can tell already.
“For Christmas? I’ve got an uncle and a mother and a sister waiting for me at home, in case you hadn’t remembered, I’m not going home with you just because you’re a workaholic.”
“No, it’s. My mum might be under the impression that we’re a little bit married.”
In which Merlin gets conned into spending Christmas with Arthur's family and pretending to be his husband, because somehow this is his life.
