Derek, our very meticulous STEM major protagonist had very confidently self-diagnosed to have a hypnic jerk in the middle of the night. He refused to open his eyes and went back to sleep. However, something was wrong. His body seemed to fall endlessly. What a weird dream.

Summary
After the dragon hunt, Jaskier is determined to prove to himself that he’s not a burden to anyone and ends up on a journey that pushes him to his limits and takes him back to his very roots. Meanwhile, Geralt is trying to reconcile with his bard and still support Cirilla, even with Nilfgaard’s growing presence through the Continent. All of them become involved in a war they wanted no part in, fighting side by side for very different things against soldiers clad in black armor and mages that threaten the lives of any who aren’t human. It’s up to Jaskier, Geralt, and Cirilla to save the Continent and all the people living on it, human and elf alike.
