Summary
After the war between Venom and Corneria finally comes to a close after decades; Fox Mccloud is adrift without much purpose. When being a soldier is all you have ever known or have been expected to be, what do you do when you aren't needed anymore, yet you can't move on to something else? As he walks through life on autopilot, taking low risk mercenary jobs just to keep his Arwing fueled and the bills paid. What supposedly was a routine survey of an unknown sector of space becomes much more as he gets shot out of the sky by an unknown force and stranded on an alien jungle planet.
Wounded and without an easy way home, Fox is forced to integrate with the natives. Which might just be a blessing in disguise

"Iz huhg," Grace sniffled out, sucking back in moisture from his noze, too. There was moisture and water and everything all over the place. "Huhg meens grayt, grayt, grayt affekshun."
"Oh," he said tentatively. Another hewmin thing! He shuffled closest to the wall Grace was huhging and leaned in. "Oh. Am I doing correctly, hmm?"
"Yis," Grace sighed out, calming down. He still leaked, though.
Oh, well. Leaky hewmins were his favorite, after all.
