"What if I help you?" Grace blurts out desperately, sweating even in the coolness of his house as his words finally manage to stop Adrian from storming out.
"What?" Adrian says after a tense moment.
"I can prove it to everyone," Grace says, his heart in his throat. "I'll - I'll make you and Rocky the most celebrated couple on Erid. I promise."
"Stupid human," Adrian hisses. "You would give up your chance for him just like that?"
"Yes," Grace says hoarsely.
"Anything for him."

Which sucks, really, since Grace loves Adrian's husband and all.

"You have no idea what you're asking for," Rocky snarls as he watches Grace slowly start to crawl back. There's a small pool of liquid forming beneath him and Rocky wants to eat him alive.
"Yes, I do," Grace whines breathlessly. "Please, Rocky. Please, alpha."
Rocky inhales sharply.
"Run," he says.
"W... What?"
"I said run," Rocky growls.
Grace squeals and takes off.
Rocky gives chase.

Grace is an excellent scientist, no matter what his colleagues back on Erid might have said once.
As such, he knows that with the right methods and experimentation, he can convince Rocky that they belong together.
He's desperate for it.

Grace regretted only that he didn’t warn Rocky to look away. He knew how Rocky felt about eating. Grace had promised over and over again to take his meals as far away as possible as to not offend his Eridian friend.
Grace was a man possessed, starving. Grace was starving. Grace wanted.
He was just a man.

Rocky has the hang of this now.
Back and forth, easy, slow, steady, and then more forceful. Gradually. Grace’s moans gain volume, heartbeat getting faster, blood rushing. He feels good. No more sad, hurting noises are coming from him.
