Summary
Jason grew up in Crime Alley. Of course he was aware of the meta trafficking rings and what happened to the kids who displayed powers but it was just another shitty thing about Gotham. He hated it, sure but he tended to not think about it too much. However when he woke up that morning it was the only thing he could think of.
He had grown wings. He didn’t want to have wings. There was no way for him to keep the wings hidden. There was only one thing he could do.
Feathers fell to the floor stained red by his blood.
Jason couldn't help but wonder if he really made the right choice.
It was too late anyway. He couldn't go back.Or : What if Jason was a winged meta? How would he react to it? How differently would the Lazarus Pits work for him? How much would this change the way people interact with him? Let’s find out!

Alternate universe in which Jason was raised by Bruce since he was 4. He lived at the manor and had a great relationship with Bruce. Until he was announced dead. When Jason learned that Bruce wasn't coming back, he braces himself before being dragged into the 'foster care system' and goes through things that would change him forever. When he learns that Bruce is actually alive, his whole world stops. He can't breathe.
