Summary
Everyone hears the rumors. Billy Hargrove and Steve Harrington are caught by Old Man Hargrove doing—something. The gossip mill can’t decide on what exactly, but everyone agrees: something gay went down.
A week later, the rundown trailer next door to Eddie is full.
At first, Eddie gets it. Hargrove and Harrington are both assholes, so of course they’re together. Sure, the fact that they’re gay is a bit of a shock but the fact that two dickhead jocks would choose to be together—makes perfect sense. But after weeks and then months of sharing cigarettes with Harrington whenever he needs to escape the screaming fights waiting for him inside, things shift in his head. Eddie doesn’t get it anymore.

Summary
“Can you take us to a late showing of —"
Steve bites his lip, sighing and preparing for inevitable backlash, “I can't, I'm babysitting."
“What!?” Dustin screeches, “How!? You’re not with any Party members?”
“Yeah I’m babysitting other kids.” Steve sighs, looking back at Beth and Annie bickering over one of their teddy bear guests.
“Other kids?! Kids that aren’t us? You’re cheating on us?”
Steve rubs at his temples, “It’s not like I have a secret family Henderson! Calm down.”
“You may as well have!” Dustin retorts something like hurt colouring his tone.
OR How Steve finds a purpose and a family one smartass kid at a time.

Summary
Vecna is dead. Fried crispy, by all accounts. But that doesn't mean the Upside Down is done yet.
Steve, however, has other problems. Now that the Party made it out with everyone alive, his brain has developed the habit of reminding him that Eddie Munson exists. And that Steve might have a capital 'T' thing for him. A thing that is not capital 'P' platonic. Which he can totally handle. It's not like he'll do anything stupid, Steve knows better. Call him: Steve 'Rational' Harrington.
Maybe he should be thankful that they get a few months to figure out life again before it all goes to shit. Until he gets the phone call that drags him into the thick of it again. But maybe this is the last time. God, Steve really hopes this is the last time.
(OR: A 'what if...' Season 5, where Eddie Munson is a little worse for wear but a-okay and Steve Harrington has time to consider a few things)
(OR, OR: Summer is on the way, meaning movies, pool parties, and a few too many beers... At least until the Upside Down claws its way back, because this is Hawkins, Indiana, and stranger things will always happen)
(OR, OR, OR: The (Second) Vanishing of Will Byers)

Summary
“I think you’re exactly like them, sweetheart. I think you like living in your rich, cushy life with your rich, cushy friends. And I think you like being mean with your mean girl friends,” Eddie spits the last sentence and towers over Stevie trying to get her to fold.
Instead the girl walks forward, forcing Eddie back and back until she hits the towel bar. Stevie never breaks the eye contact and her eyes are alight with something Eddie can’t quite place until her lips are brushing Eddie’s.
“I promise you that you have no fucking clue who I really am,” Stevie says against Eddie’s lips, narrowing her eyes, “and neither does anyone down there.”

Summary
“How long do you think it’ll take?” Steve asks, eyes flickering over to the shoebox of materials. “Like, do you have to go over it a bunch of times to make the ink dark enough? We don’t need them that dark.”
“It doesn’t even need to be super straight or even or anything.” Robin adds. “Like don’t worry about making them perfect or anything.”
“Are you guys sure you want tattoos?” Eddie double-checks. These are just verbal confirmations of what he’s already picked up on from their twitchy body language and constant thrum of nervous energy. They’re scared. Which like, fair. But their nervousness gives him pause, makes him wonder why they’re going with commemorative tattoos of all things to remind themselves of the tragic end of their summer jobs.
