Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Grace can survive in Rocky's atmosphere! Grace will live as long as Rocky! Rocky and Adrian reuinite and Adrian meets Grace! Grace will get to go back to Earth with Rocky (for a bit and then go back to Erid)! Grace will get to confront and get closure with Stratt! Fanart included!)

Summary
It’s been nearly 27 years since Eva Stratt forced Ryland Grace to board the Hail Mary and sent him off to his death for the greater good of mankind. Meanwhile, Eva and the Project Hail Mary team have been fighting a losing battle against the cooling sun—and their own demons—trying to make sure there were still people to be saved by the time the crew could send a solution home. Right on schedule, the beetles are returning to Earth, hopefully with the answer to saving the world. “Oh please, you must have realised I’d not be faithful to you.” A nasty voice snarled, just loud enough for Harry to hear.
He froze, shocked by the fact that anyone would say that, to anyone.
“So, you have summoned me here – on Valentine’s Day – simply to dump me in public?” A deep, incredibly pleasant voice asked.
Harry blinked, surprised that this was a gay break-up.
Running a hand through his hair to try to get it to lay flat, he stepped around the separating wall and put on his happiest smile as he approached the two. He almost faltered – the other man was not what he expected. He’d expected someone similar to him in age – this man was older. He was also not very handsome at all, lank black hair, a big nose, and angry eyes – though the last was, at least, understandable. Harry would be screaming by now, not just glowering.
