    Summary

High and mighty waves riveted higher and higher. His neck grew sore, he stumbled back as he tilted his head upwards, losing track of the building current. The violent storms and pouring rain momentarily stopped. It was only when did he realize the crashing, towering waves of the ocean acted as a cloak from the rainfall above.

"You are safe here, Legend." Time ran a hand through his sweat-dampened bangs, raising an eyebrow at the piping temperature before sliding his cold palm to The Veteran's forehead. "Safe where I can see you."

Legend's head whipped to the sides, soaked hair clinging to the sides of his face. Eyes wide and burning as he searched for red. As he searched for any sight of her.

"Marin!" He cried, voice unheard of over the clash and roars of thunder.

The ground beneath him split, a rush of panic jolting through him as though he'd been electrified.

"Marin!!" The towering waves above, with power like no other, finally lost the last of its momentum. Pinned to the ground by the uselessness of his own legs, Legend hadn't a choice but to stare as the Sky came crashing down.

    Summary

"Legend!" He breathed, a relieved little smile plastered on his wet face.

The Veteran froze, tilting his head up, staring blearily at Time with a sort of silence that was just as, if not more chilling than the rainwater itself.

The oil lamp glowed very little, though Time didn't need even the Sun itself to notice the boy's red, splotchy face.

His joints creaked and scratched against one another. Each and every of Legend's forced movements had violent, charring pain course up his veins and limbs. The cold from the storm around had only his joints swell further, and only drove more of that excruciating, overwhelming pain though all over him.

His mind could only envision the screeching and scraping of his bones. The very image already enough to drive him to a panicked fit.

"How long have you been out here for? It's very late." Time frowned, gathering and ushering the boy closer to him, to where his held-up arms tried greatly to block out the rainfall away from The Veteran, to off the boy even a few, feeble seconds of comfort.

    Summary

Legend choked on a silent sob.

The world froze, and Legend's ears twitched at the telltale noise of a macabre of concerned gasps.

Another sob ripped out of him.

The world stopped moving, the rain stopped falling, and everything that Legend thought he once had under control had slipped through his fingers.

He tilted his head, tears burning streaks through his skins. They continued to fall and roll down. His allies continued to watch. Everything continued to spiral out of The own Veteran's control.

He shook his head, legs nearly buckling over. He coughed, and more tears spilled from him. Pulling his sleeve over his hands, Legend pawed at his face, more so rubbing harshly at the skin there.

"Stop it." He mumbled weakly, rubbing harder, he wasn't sure what the words were for, who they were directed to. Still, he couldn't help it. The words spilled out of him as his tears did.

    "Legend-"

"Stop it!" The Veteran shrieked. Somebody flinched back, the flash of green had him believe it was Hyrule. His heart pounded a bit harder at that. It only reminded him further of his embarrassment, of all his mistakes.

    Summary

Minho jogged towards the Homestead immediately after getting back from the Maze, as he had everyday since it happened. He waved off Alby and Frypan's calls of hello and continued on to his destination. There had been a cold, emptiness about the Maze ever since Newt's accident and there was just something off about it. Minho couldn't put his finger on it, but it seemed as though it just didn't make sense. Almost as though Newt had been lying but Minho didn't want to believe that could be true. Newt didn't lie, he was too much of a sucker for order to go around spreading mistruths.
