Summary
Salvatore G. Addonizi, known to fans worldwide as Sal G. Salvatore, used to be the kind of kid to get into fights. He never really grew out of it either, getting kicked out of various establishments as soon as some dickhead looked at him the wrong way.
Upon meeting Mr. Antony "Ant" Tenna, Jr., however, he stopped fighting just for his own defense. Instead, he made sure every living being knew that the show host was untouchable.
Then the scandal hit- the man who stole audiences' hearts, dripping with sex appeal and cockiness, was pregnant. So his instincts and pregnancy hormones took over, growing more and more protective with each snide comment or filthy look.
No one fucks with Sal G. Salvatore's family.

Summary
To no one’s surprise, existing as a lowly Addison... followed by the live-fast BIG SHOT [Cungadero] lifestyle... taking an unwanted acid bath and being homeless (if you didn’t count the dumpster) and then BEATEN UP BY CHILDREN... none of this does a body any good. Particularly not when said body is sad and stunted, made of wood and fluff.
It also no longer looks great in a suit jacket, which is perhaps the biggest shame.
Or:
Hanging around Castle Town after his battle with the [Sponge]s, Spamton meets an old flame again, and has to reassess everything he thought he knew about his ruined body.

A screen flicks on and shifts until it’s hovering over Spamton. The weight against his chest is lifted, and the Addison chokes on a sob as he rips himself up, throwing the blanket down. Something in the corner of his vision moves, brushes against his cold cheek, and Spamton flinches.
“Spamton? Sweetheart? What’s the matter?”

Spamton G. Spamton wakes up in a bed he doesn't remember going to sleep in, next to a Darkner that he doesn't know.

“Didn’t know you still [[smokehouse barbeque]],” he said instead, shifting his eyes subtly to watch the smoke drift from Tenna’s soft lips. He choked back a noise.
“Didn’t know I still…? Oh- heh! Y-Yeah.” He shifted his weight, embarrassed at what in his mind seemed to be getting caught. “Some habits just uh… die hard, I guess! I-I don’t do it that often anymore, especially now that I have to help teach the kids, and you know I’ve stopped drinking all together, b-but sometimes I just- When I’m stressed out, I just need to- It’s not like I’m-”
“Still the same [[dazzling new brands]] you used to smoke [[way back when]]?” Spamton gently interrupted, breaking his spiral.
A beat passed before Tenna sighed and resettled again, a tenseness in his shoulders now that made Spamton purse lips he didn’t have.

It starts off with Spamton's first Christmas with Tenna during their glory days and ends with his first Christmas with Tenna after their reunification in Castle Town.
Ch1: After the thrill of the TV World Christmas Party, Spamton returns home to spend the holidays with his family, the Addisons, only to be turned away at their doorstep. But as he makes his way back to Tenna, he crashes the Cungadero and must trek the snow-covered roads of the TV World alone to reach him.
Ch2: Post-reunification, Spamton is anxious to spend the holidays with not only Tenna, but also the Addisons, who have joined Tenna's crew in Castle Town. He quickly learns through Tenna's comfort that his company is now *craved* by many darkners.Bookmarked by JesterBeez

In one swift motion, he knelt and pushed the plug into the outlet, turning and feeling along the casing beneath the screen for the power button. A springy click… and then his ears filled with the familiar high-pitched electric whine of a working CRT.

Tenna’s first reaction upon seeing Spamton again, which was to spray him with foam, should’ve been an early warning sign of how their relationship would go in Castle Town. In simple words: not good.
With Tenna forced to come to terms with his loss of power and Spamton eager to take advantage—adding on years of separation, misunderstandings, and pent up anger—it wasn’t a surprise that things turned out this way.
So, with all that in mind, why in the world did they keep coming back to each other?

1. A sufficiently large detonation combined with a sufficiently large amount of Chaos Energy creates a wormhole through which one can travel (or be sucked at the last second) to a parallel universe relatively safely.
2. Earth seemed to stay pretty consistent across most universes.
3. It appeared that, after a life of self-imposed seclusion in the manner of a gizmo-ridden, super-genius, hermetic monk, when it came down to brass tacks, Dr Robotnik was hard-pushed to tell the difference between most Earths.Dr Robotnik jumps through universes to try and get back home, confronting his feelings for Agent Stone along the way.
