bokuto stood at the sink, scrubbing away at his dishes, the rhythmic clink of plates filling the quiet of his apartment. as he moved to clean his metal water bottle, a sudden, unfortunate twist of fate had him wedged fast, his hand stuck inside the narrow opening. panic bubbled up inside him as he fumbled with the bottle, but his phone, as luck would have it, was nowhere to be found. being new to the apartment complex, there was no one familiar to turn to for help. staring at the predicament in frustration, bokuto finally sighed in resignation.
with no other options, he made his way across the hall. when he knocked and the door swung open, there stood the neighbor—just in time to witness bokuto, hands awkwardly hidden behind his back. he smiled sheepishly, his voice sheepish but earnest as he muttered, "i know this isn't the most proper introduction, but... i might need a little help..."
