Another attempt to get rid of him and his tainted, impoverished blood. Jun Wu had done something similar when he forced Mu Qing to share the south with Feng Xin, thinking it would edge him out until Feng Xin took the position himself, but it hadn’t been so blatant then. Mu Qing was just as surprised as everyone else when Feng Xin split the south with him equally. Even as they fought with each other, protecting their territory together always came first. Jun Wu smiles warmly, returning to his usual self, “You may leave now.”

But now that control seemed to be crumbling, the very thing securing his position in heaven and as God of the Southwest was splintering beneath his feet.
