Summary
The Iron Lung falls through a worm hole; saving Simon from his demise and sending him to a group of Eridian’s who were studying the other end of said worm hole. Now he is recovering from his traumatic universe in a place where there are ample rations, starlight, growing plants, and a kind human named Grace.
Grace is adapting to Erid well, the garden is growing, he’s gotten back into the swing of teaching, and his friendship with Rocky is as strong as ever. And now there is a new human in the med bay that was fished from the stars, throwing a new variable into his life on Erid.

Ryland Grace, biologist first and human second, is absolutely fascinated by Rocky, and how almost-human he seems. Rocky is also arguably fascinated, but he's far less blatant than Grace is about it.

Oh god, he did not want Hobie to find him like this. This is–this is fucking embarrasing! He’s fucking Spider-Man and gets taken down in seconds thanks to some fucking rope!
Really, this day couldn’t get anymore–
Footsteps echo throughout the warehouse and Miles freezes.
He’s spinning ever so slowly so he can’t see who it is but, with every passing moment, the figure gets closer and closer to the moonlight shining inside the room and Miles nearly passes out in relief when he sees Hobie’s signature hair and the sound of his chains clicking with every one of his movements.
But, his spider-senses scream at him and he doesn’t know why.
[or, part 2 of wherein Hobie says fuck it all and saves Miles his own way. Of course, while trying to lay low, they can't catch a break to save their lives.]
