It was practically a routine, at this point.
Branzy would making himself busy around the base, try to stay inconspicuous, try not to let his heart race at every unfamiliar sound. One thing he’d learnt, if nothing else, was that Clown didn’t make sound, not as standard.
He’d go like this for a day, maybe two, waiting. Then his business partner would stumble back inside, a mess of potion effects and wounds, and collapse on the floor. Which left Branzy to get him cleaned up.

“…holy shit.”
And he leans in.
...not with his hands, but with his mouth. He drops to his knees on the worn hallway carpet, the movement so fluid and silent it barely makes a sound. Branzy lets out a sharp, surprised inhale, his body going tense for a second before relaxing into the wall with a soft thud.
Clown doesn't give him time to process. He presses his face against the small of Branzy's back, his mask a cool, smooth barrier against warm, flushed skin. He can feel the texture of the ink, the slight ridge of it, the heat radiating from Branzy's body. He smells soap and sweat and that maddening cologne, and it's all he can do not to groan.
He frantically slides his mask up, exposing his mouth and nose.
He mouths at the tattoo, tracing the bold black lines with the seam of his lips, a wet, open-kissed reverence. His hands come up to grip Branzy's hips, holding him steady, thumbs pressing into the hollows of his bones.
"Clown," Branzy breathes, his voice shaky. "What—"

They had never really discussed it. Their dynamic worked, and as time passed, the desire to be in a setting where he wasn’t in control, where he wasn’t the one taking care of Keigo, grew smaller.
Until a week ago, anyway.
Somehow, they’d ventured into the topic of past partners, and he’d made an offhanded comment about never having been on the receiving end. And fuck, if the way Birdie’s eyes had lit up at the prospect wasn’t enough to reawaken a dormant desire, he didn’t know what was.
And, well, Dabi wasn’t opposed to it, was all he was saying.Keigo & Dabi try something new, learn a few things about themselves, perhaps cry a little, a few droplets of angst sprinkled in, the usual. Dabi might ask Keigo to make it a more regular thing.

The villain had always been cool and collected to the point of rigidity. Sure, he had seen a few cracks in the foundations, a few instances of warmth or passion, but this? Hawks was at a total loss.
"Quirk-" he stammered, "got hit by a-a quirk. It feels-fuck-" Dabi choked, the sound barely escaping his throat. "Burned. Burned alive. It feels like I'm burning, burning again, I'm burning, I'm-"
He never finished his sentence, strangling on those last words. Instead, his body convulsed, collapsing forwards. His forehead pressed to the floor, his hands cradling his head.
Without warning, without hesitation, Dabi screamed.

Dabi gets hit by Furnace, a Quirk that forces its victim to live through the hell of being burned alive. The only issue-Dabi already knows what that's like. With painful memories of his past threatening to overwhelm him, he's forced to turn to Hawks for safety. Meanwhile, Hawks just wants to know why the villain broke in on his day off. He's left with more questions than he knows what to do with.
