Summary
Just a Severitus with several relationships thrown in there (I didn’t know I was aroace and bad at writing allo relationships when I started). It doesn't follow cannon directly; some things happen at different times and some bits are added or taken away. Yes, each work is named after a different song, no, I don't know why.
My first attempt at writing a fic that was me biting off a lot more than I could chew.

After Molly Weasley reports shocking abuse on the part of Petunia and Vernon Dursley, Albus Dumbledore makes an official decision to Turn A Blind Eye. After all, the Dursleys *are* the key to Harry's Blood Wards. Though McGonagall is appalled, she is ultimately unwilling to take a stand against Albus.
Enraged at this dual neglect, Severus Snape decides to take matters into his own hands. Little does he know that his attempts to modify Harry's Blood Wards will result in *accidentally adopting* The Boy Who Lived. Shocked and horrified, Severus is left with no choice but to move forward as best he can. After all, there's no use crying over spilled potions. . .
This fic is set just after the Weasley siblings rescue Harry from the barred window/canned soup/cat flap situation in Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets. It is broadly inspired by many of my favorite Snape/Harry Adoption Fics, which I have gathered into the collection Snape_Harry_FoundFamily. Thanks, all y'all, for creating such delightful fics.

Summary
