Summary
This isn't really a fic so much as a longer summarization laying out the groundwork of my Medieval AU for Homestuck. Here's the smaller version:
Over her many years of conquest, Condy has made a lot of enemies, so she's been letting her subordinates soothe tensions with multiple diplomatic missions. Dualscar secured some trust with the Human nation; enough to pique the interest of the king's twins and get them to bring an entourage to Alternia. Unbeknownst to them, having two royal families in the same place has gathered a lot of attention from the barbaric country of Cherubs. Their nation's successors also go to visit Alternia's capital; one to save it, the other to destroy it from the inside.
