“Here goes nothing.” Tim cleared his throat and flicked on the communicator. “Hello Bats. Your new dispatcher is reporting in.”Several moments of long silence greeted him. Tim shifted and eyed the mic icon, showing it was indeed on, the team had heard him.
Finally, an eerily chipper voice picked up. “Well, well, well. They told us we might get new blood, I wasn’t expecting you to sound so sweet. What’s your name, darling?”
“You can call me Tim.”
“Tim,” the new voice was low and angry. Red Hood’s icon lit up. “You expect us to believe that’s your real name? Tim? You sound like a fucking office worker.”

Here’s the deal: you like those, don’t you?” Lucifer asked, voice so soft a croon Alastor would know it was fake. “I will help you through this, slake your animal lust the old fashioned way—just this once.” His hand lifted, brushing against Alastor’s jaw, and he watched with a ghostly smirk as Alastor’s eyes flared, his smile more like a sneer even as Lucifer leaned forward. Good. It was easier to do this when Alastor acted how Lucifer had come to expect. “Charlie will never know, your psychotic little Overlord friends will never know, and when it’s done we will walk away and never, ever speak of it again.”
As an angel, Lucifer's never thought much about the secondary natures of humans or their Sinner counterparts in Hell. Then Alastor goes into rut, and he finds himself reevaluating what it is he’ll do to keep his daughter’s dream alive.

Karasu slouched on the branch, sulking at being ordered around, even though he hadn't wanted to follow after Toguro in the first place. After a while he realized the position he was in, basically alone at the campsite. Karasu crept down from the tree, looking around to see if there was anyone coming back. He pulled at the strings slowly on the other sack, watching the fabric fall away to reveal the waterfall of red hair. He couldn't help but smile as big green eyes blinked up at him, working very hard to maintain a neutral expression. His arms, like Yusuke's, were bound from the tips of his fingers to his elbows. "You've been awake this entire time haven't you?" he greeted, already tangling his fingers into those soft locks. "That must have been uncomfortable, knocking against Toguro's back."

Lestat grinned to himself as he slipped out of the car. Louis hadn't fed from the boy, he'd left him, afraid but unharmed. Lestat, who knew Louis so well, knew that the pureness was the reason that he hadn't killed or fed from him. He saw the pureness and beauty and wanted it to stay like that. Untouched by the inky black they tainted the world with.
He would not allow Lestat to stain this boy without a fight. He would follow him after the boy ran out of the room, would follow Lestat as he took him. Claudia had kept Louis by his side for decades, but it had not lasted. He never should have turned that child; he should have allowed her to die. But this boy wasn't a child, he wouldn't be trapped in the body of one as he grew. Still, he was not grown, not truly, he was innocent and young enough to need protection. Tim opened his mouth to respond but the only thing that came out was a low, distressed keen. Calling for pack. Screaming that he wasn’t okay.
“Shit,” he heard Jason curse. There was a shuffling on the other end and the slamming of things opening and closing.
“Where are you?” Jason’s voice was low and urgent.

Summary
The galaxy waited with bated breath the day the temple was set ablaze.
In a universe where the Republic - and the Jedi- and the Confederacy - and the Sith- live in a tense peace, it was only a matter of time before the uneasy peace between them broke.
Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is on a Jedi Temple on Rolvatz, a Confederate planet, when whispered rumors about the destruction of the Temple reach the Jedi. Armed with an emergency evacuation plan that Obi-Wan never planned to use, when the time comes and he awakes to his home burning around him, he takes his emergency charges -Anakin and Rey- to the coordinates, only to come face to face with Qui-Gon Jinn.
Qui-Gon Jinn is one of many Sith to decide that Sidious has gone too far and warn the Temple of the impending attack. When the emergency evacuation plan takes effect he finds Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and two younglings under his care. Armed with a fake marriage certificate, under the cover of refugees flocking to nearby planets to escape the impending wrath of the Republic the two of them discover that the force might have more in store for them than just an escape plan.
