Peter and Deadpool are held captive by a super-villain that has an inclination for torture. After she boasts her untarnished record at never having hurt a child or teenager, Peter is forced to break the truth to both her and Deadpool.
“Did you know I have a perfect record?” The villain collects a rusted pocket knife, tracing it up Peter’s arm, over his shoulders, down to his collarbone, as though considering where to cut. Peter focuses on controlling his breathing, fear twisting awfully in his belly. “You may look down on me, Mr. Spider-Man, but for all the righteous suffering I inflict, I’ve never hurt a child. Not once.”
“Y'know, I don’t think you do,” Peter blurts. At his words, Deadpool's stare intensifies. “Have a perfect, non-child harming record, that is.”

“Didn't Wizard Romeo and Juliet both die?” he asks, in that same low, grumbly voice he always loves to use for big scary bad guys. The effect is jarring.
“Well, yes, but… they loved each other first,” Steve says, oddly sincere. “I think love is worth the risk. Wouldn't you agree? And then, uh, I'm gonna take off my helmet and, like—” Steve tosses his hair, shaking it out dramatically and running a hand through it afterward to fix any wayward strands.
"Ew,” Mike says.

It was easy to figure out that Jason Todd was the Red Hood and even easier to figure out what came next.Jason wasn’t really doing much to hide his plans—Tim could see how he hated the Bats and could hear every comment he made about the newest Robin and it was obvious he was planning something.
The guns on his hips didn’t leave him much doubt as to what those plans were.
The hard part was coming to terms with it.
The hard part was looking himself in the mirror and knowing he was living on borrowed time. It was going out each night looking for a red helmet, only ever seeing it hidden in shadows behind him—always watching, always waiting. It was staring at his laundry basket and wondering if he should take care of that or if he’d have a bullet in his skull before he could move it to the dryer.

Tim figures out that Jason is going to kill him so he can take back his rightful place and join the family again.
He decides to do the only reasonable thing and minimize the fallout of his death before it occurs.
According to Jason, this is the wrong thing to do.
