“This okay?” Simon muttered, the vibrations from his words rippling across Grace’s stomach.

Simon paused his kisses. “How did you see this going?”

Summary
Ghost is not Simon Riley. Simon Riley is dead. Ghost is the eldritch being fleeing from his home dimension that took over Simon Riley's corpse. Lost on what to do now that he's in a new world, free from his old life, Ghost continues to live out Simon's life. It was his own decision to join the 141. It him that has been serving with the 141. Him that fell in love with them.
More than anything, Ghost wants to tell his team the truth, but he's terrified of their reaction. So he keeps quiet. Keeps playing human. But when a mission goes wrong the choice is taken from him.

Summary
Soap gets stuck in a time loop during the Alone Mission and dies a whole bunch trying to get it right. He doesn't quite know how to handle it, especially when Ghost starts dying first and Soap begins restarting the loops without question- anything to have a chance of them both making it out intact at the end.
Then Ghost has his turn in the loops.
