Keiko always knew she was a background character.
One of her longest friends was an infamous thief. Another one was somehow involved with demons. And Keiko? She went to school, studied, chatted with her friends; all normal stuff.
And she was fine being a background character. She got all the fun from watching her friends, and meanwhile she was safe. The most interesting thing that had happened was that she heard the ghost of the school —and that turned out to be a classmate if Aoko was right.
So, life was supposed to be easy. Things weren’t going to happen to her.
