He tapped the back of Soundwaves helm. “Do you feel what you have done to me?”

Summary
Knockout did not intend to keep any part of his conjunx's broken husk. After all, it wasn't Breakdown any more, and he didn't need a piece of metal to remind him of who his mate had been in life. So it was a surprise to him as well when he kept a piece anyway - the diamond plate that had adorned the front of Breakdown's beautiful crest. It was easier, in this one small thing, that it hadn't been his decision to do so. But now that he had it, he wasn't going to part with it, finding more comfort in the small token than he had expected.
Unfortunately, some other bot seems strangely fixated on ridding him of it. And that may not be the only thing the sparkless mad scientist has his emotionless gaze on.
