Summary
Two days after the failed Extermination, Charlie and her crew have the hotel up and running.
Unfortunately, Heaven did not take too kindly to a sinner killing Adam, nor the fact that Lucifer had to get involved. He has been summoned to Heaven not by Sera, but by Michael.
Charlie has never seen her father so terrified in her life.
Something was not right with Heaven, that much she knew. Charlie glanced at the crumpled letter Lucifer had left behind, and felt dread grip her throat. What else was Heaven lying about?

Bookmarker's Notes
I believe there aren't enough words to explain how much I deeply love this. It got everything I would've asked for a story about Lucifer and his siblings, I've read a lot of narrative about them and I never really felt satisfyingly content with the portrayal of characters and the plot unlike this one.
The way Lucifer is not just a rebellious ruler but a figure defined by unresolved traume is written well. You can clearly see how much he doesn't want to live like a puppet under the control of Micheal, it can be shown as how he distance himself by being surrounded by others, and not mentioning him to them unless he needs to rant, not only that but his feelings thrown away by his Father is a nail in the coffin for start of a rebellion
Michael here is such a complex villain, his feelings for Lucifer are a toxic mix of extreme possessiveness and obsessive "love". He views Lucifer as his "everything" and his "purpose," but he treats him like a precious object to be controlled rather than a person. It's no wonder why Lucifer would want to seek freedom. The direction of his obsession turning into murderous when he realizes he cannot "own" Lucifer's affection, it led to him killing Lilith and almost Charlie just to "save" his brother from corruption. Absolute insane- I've held hope that he might change just like what Lucifer thought but nvm, instantly got changed when he forced him to stay. His character arc ending as he is in a state of delusional insanity. Even after killing his brother, he remains in denial, claiming he did nothing wrong and that Lucifer is now "safe" from corruption. His punishment being overseen by God personally, is poetically justice-oriented. I personally like how he is permanently imprisoned and shackled in the same room where he once locked Lucifer, left to be eaten alive by a "guilty conscience" and hallucinations of the brother he destroyed
Besides these two, I greatly appreciated the side characters here. Starting with his other siblings, they have a feeling of guilt and nostalgia. They missed Lucifer intensely but they were blinded by their "unquestioning" loyalty to Michael and their Father until it was too late. The sins as well, their genuine loyalty and mutual protection is wonderfully shown and explained. It's so mesmerizing ocnalnxa.
Also'! I love the lore about the Garden of Eden. Adam genuinely liking Lucifer but was shattered due to the manipulation of Micheal, it hurts since Adam (not knowing) helped Lucifer when almost everyone is ignoring him as it is his "punishment." Lilith on the other hand, it also hurts because wdym she didn't get to raise her children? Oh- And Eve, eating the apple out of her own will and lying that a serpent gave it to her to protect Lucifer, that's nice.
Another thing I like is Charlie over here, she went from being a naive dreamer into a determined protector and ruler of hell, you go girl'! Be the Queen that hell needs'! Her speech at the ending is heartbreaking to read, I can't stop crying over it. Not only does she witness her father's death, but it also confirmed that her mother, Lilith, was murdered by Michael in Heaven.
Ouch- Speaking of the ending, it's emotionally devastating, Lucifer's sacrifice, the way their griefs are shown, the funeral, and the 'quiet life' talk. The change of direction of the ending, I know I would like the bittersweet ending more but this is more better and I love it. Death never makes sense and that sometimes there is no "Greater Plan," only the reality of living on one's own terms and being remembered by those who loved you.
This story is truly tragically beautiful, "Lucifer's tale, after all, has always been a tragedy." The beauty lies in the poetic justice and the celebration of life amidst loss. The final image of Lucifer, dying to protect his daughter and finally finding peace under the stars he created, is a powerful resolution to a life defined by confinement, how lovely.
( For Author, condolences for your friend, may she find peace and happiness in the afterlife. Thank you so much for writing this story.)

"I can't tell which part of this fic i love the most; the fic itself or the recipes" - This comment is literally me rn hahahahahha, seriously though, I wasn't expecting a recipe list at the end.
Besides that, the story is actually very lovely, I personally like the tender moments they both share and the mission beignets that Charlie started. Such a cute girl and yes, she does needs to learn about boundaries.

Summary
When most people thought of Lucifer, there was a grandiose picture of authority. A fallen angel, cast out of heaven for rebelling against the Seraphim, yet one of the perfect beings created far before the beginning of Earth. They pictured a demonic creature, only a shadow of his former holiness. The halo replaced by horns, claws and sharp teeth sprouting from his body, feathers of his wings rotted away. He was someone whom sinners feared a run in with. It was because of Lucifer they were damned to eternal torment, after all. Despite the fact that none had seen his face in millennia, that image was never tarnished. Lucifer was Hell’s ruler, the top man who could wipe most out of existence with a single snap of his fingers.
Lucifer was none of these things. He was simply an angel broken by the choices made, cast out from his home for daring to think differently. All that remained was his love for a daughter that didn't want to see him.

Bookmarker's Notes
Words can't explain how much I love this one. I personally like this take, it makes the finale of season 1 even more understandable about Lucifer's change of mind about sinners. Not only that but it doesn't hinder away the fact that he is a neglectful parent towards Charlie, he won't be able to change what happened before but he can change now, become better for her and eventually for himself.
Besides, this kinda set his relationship with Vaggie. He understands why she kept it to herself even though he doesn't really know her at all besides being Charlie's girlfriend. One thing I am disappointed in the actual show is that they didn't show much about him bonding with Vaggie, they both care for Charlie and both are fallen angel, if only they showed it then the whole 'can't hurt any sinners' secret reveal would've make sense why he shared it with her.
Anyways- This also has good writing so pog'! Extremely poggers kekeke. Unfortunately, I can't see the fanart attached to this but that's alright, the writing alone is satisfying enough.

Bookmarker's Notes
Holy shakespeare dude-
The character development that these two main character has was amazing. Luci goes from hating androids because they are the reason why his wife died into accepting who they're and marrying one. In simplest words, racist to non-racist. For Alastor, I'm not sure if my understanding is correct but going from doubting his feelings because the human he fell in love with is so adamant on androids not having any emotions into accepting who he is and his love for Luci is what I can grasps on about him.
Alastor choosing to be partnered with Luci despite all the warnings is honestly so romantic for me, I don't know why but yes. Also- Reading his reactions to every stupid thing that Luci did that broke his heart is just heartbreaking like dude, pls Luci, stop treating him like that.
Though it's understandable why he will be like that, his backstory afterall was tragic. Lilith working hard to fix her mistake while Luci just wanting her to go home with him and their daughter, gosh that hurts. F Robert for killing her and w for Niffty for killing him. Speaking of Niffty, she is so cute here, I genuinely love how she went revenge mode when Lilith got shot because I would do that as well.
Besides Niffty, I can't help but imagine what Charlie has been through dealing with the grief and a father slowly dissapearing, I'm glad she met Vaggi and help her out. Not only the two but also how Adam handles the aftermath of Lilith's death. Despite the way he acts all the time, you can still see that he cares for Luci a lot. Rosie, Mimzy, and Cherrie as well, thank goodness they're here because their intelligent minds are enough to balance out the stupidity that both main characters seem to have.
Enough about the characters, the plot was amazing. I managed to deduce that it was Vox when I finished chapter 2 because of the amount of times Voxtex was mentioned lolz, I'm glad that it was correct or else I'm crashing out in the middle of the night hahaha.
The sex was hot, the way clues are spread out here is brilliant, pacing was nice, the setting was interesting. Overall 10/10 for me :DD
