I hate that I finished reading this already, because it was so unbelievably good and I don't wanna leave this amazing world you build around them, interwaving Star Wars lore so expertedly, not only in this part, but the first part as well. This was amazing. Truly the best thing I've read on here.
So many side plots and little details and you wrapped them all up and addressed everything that happened in this story and its prequel.
This felt like reading a published work of fiction that I bought in a bookstore and a bunch of publishers said yes to. I don't know how else to express what a ride this was!
I took forever to finish it because I really really didn't want it to end.
And now I have finished it, and it left me with that moment right after you finish a book where you just kinda have to sit with it because it had introduced you to a plot and world I was not ready to leave.
Your writing and plotting and execution of your ideas is phenomenal.

Javier is staring blankly down at a page, cigarette hanging loosely from one hand as he cups his chin with the other. The typewritten words are blurring and he’s read the same paragraph countless times now, in limbo, unable to get any further.
A small red box, having evidently just been thrown in his direction, lands with a soft thud right under his nose. Javi jerks back with a start, blurry black and white suddenly replaced with bright red and… yellow? Javi blinks, his tired eyes finally focus — it’s a McDonald’s Happy Meal.
“There,” says Steve, “now cheer the f*** up.”
