Summary
One of the accessory/skin ideas that I was playing around with was the idea of hybrid or character-based skins and the premise of, "what would a character like Jago look like if he were given a Fulgore skin or accessory pack?" In this instance, the premise was "what would have happened if Riptor and/or Fulgore would have been possessed or corrupted by Gargos' influence?" Thus, these were born from those ideas. These are more collages than outright "concept art" admittedly, but they were mainly done just to give me a sense of what either Riptor or Fulgore would look like if they had been corrupted ala "Warhammer 40K" style.

This is concept art for what I like to call the "Iguana" skin. Because the 2013 version of Riptor had spiky spines along his back like an iguana (albeit metallic), I kind of wanted to see what that would look like on the 1994 version of Riptor. Thus, this was the result.

Summary
So, originally this was going to be a redesign of Lobo, one that was meant to evoke his early JLI/"L.E.G.I.O.N." appearance where he was a lean knuckle fighter, but I later decided to make this his own character.
A number of different story ideas were considered - his being Lobo's son, a Velorpian survivor - but then I thought, 'What if someone on Czarnia had witnessed the genocide firsthand and survived it?'
Facially, I wanted Lupo to resemble a young Ted Danson with the cold squinty eyes of Clint Eastwood, while the character overall was kind of inspired by the Jurassic Park raptors. Because Czarnians are a species capable of surviving outer space, I had reasoned that the facial markings were bony and scaly ridges as a result of adapting to hostile environments.
For the jacket, some inspiration was taken from Isaac Clarke's level five armor with the ribbing, while some of Godzilla's plates were incorporated into the shoulders. Spinal's Cthulhu shield from "Killer Instinct 2013" had also provided some inspiration as well for the back, but overall, I kind of wanted to give the jacket a very raw, almost flayed sort of look, the idea being that he is covered in Czarnia's blood.

Summary
Starbreaker is an obscure villain from DC Comics and a long-time nemesis of the Justice League. According to his bio, he is a cosmic vampire that is billions of years old, but even more interestingly, he is a being with a connection to the Sun-Eaters of DC lore.
For this design, I tried to be as faithful as I could to the original by preserving the Dracula-esque high collar and cape, although I made some slight adjustments to give it a more organic and kind of alien look. Australian frilled lizards, Venus flytraps and cobras were referenced in some aspects, although I kind of wanted to give it a creepier twist, like the collar itself is a "mouth" with teeth and eyes. I also tried to keep the eight-pointed star on his chest as well since that is his most distinctive feature, although I tried using some pngs of stars and nebulas for the cape.
The cape itself is actually a series of tentacles that merge together, but when push comes to shove and he needs to go on the offensive, the cape would split apart. For those of you wondering why his face isn't red like in the comics, let's say that there is a story reason for that. ;D I hope you like what I have in store for ol' Starbreaker!- Language:
