Summary

Until Lena finds herself stranded at a teahouse in the south of England, her trip to Paris delayed, and unable to bring herself to leave for some reason, finding that her heart doesn't need to be fixed; it just needs to be loved by the right person.

The woman’s voice is thick, low and accented with a lilt Morgana has never heard before. Rough, but pleasing to the ear. It rumbles over Morgana’s skin, leaving gooseflesh in its wake.
“I –“ Morgana hesitates, thrown off by the question. She clutches the runestone harder. As a last resort her plan was to try to send whoever was summoned back through the rift if they proved disagreeable, but this woman is even more formidable and yet somehow less threatening than Morgana could have imagined. “The spell was to find the most powerful being in creation. I didn’t know who would answer the call.”
The woman frowns. “Me? Not her?”
“Who?”

Following Lex’s defeat, Kara and Lena are struggling to rebuild their friendship and let go of the hurt caused on both sides when Kara and Lena work together to help an alien return home. They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.

She turns a few pages, looking at a few words that she could use to string together a menacing sentence to direct toward her prisoner.
As she flips through the pages to find the sign for Damage, which the dictionary is sending her to as a synonym for Threat, her eyes fall on the page right next to it, where the last C words are depicted. There is Cut, and right after it, Cute.
Janai stops.
Her eyes narrow.
She tries to go back to analyze the word Damage, but her gaze keeps darting back to that single four lettered word.or

General Amaya isn’t surprised in the slightest — that Janai would be a Queen out of legend, anyway. She had no idea they would do it together.

Best enemies to friends to lovers Janaya story, Janai and Amaya both love Queen Aanya and adopt her (at least in action) - I love this! The Sunfire elves adopt Amaya, who they think is Janai's consort - so cool! This story feels like canon with everything happening the way I'd want it to. It makes me happy. Amaya exploring and becoming part of Sunfire elves' culture and society. Amaya in sexy and regal Sunfire clothes and spending Janai's money.
