Who the hell was Stilinski? Oh. Derek glared as the guy in the red hoodie crossed to the lab table they were going to be expected to share. No. This wasn’t going to work for him.
“Mr. Harris?” Derek asked.

Mr. Harris smiled. There was absolutely nothing comforting about it. In fact, all of Derek’s instincts were telling him that smile meant he had royally messed up.

The two hour drive that should have brought him to Ashburn was interrupted by a squeal from under the hood. The lights on the dash flashed before a warning code blinked on. “Oh, you’ve gotta be,” Stiles pulled over just as soft gray smoke started to billow from under the hood, “fucking with me.”
Just as he pressed his foot to the brake, a grinding shook the jeep’s body. Stiles groaned, letting his head fall back against his seat. He pushed the parking brake and shoved himself out of the car, “Some type of fucking car. How far away are we, Roscoe? Like ten minutes? Couldn’t just make it to Scott’s place, you just had to break down in the middle of nowhere. God-fucking-damnit.”Life seems to be having fun fucking with Stiles, stranding him in the middle of Nowheresville, Tennessee after a Hellish six months at the office, but Scott is here. And there's a guy willing to help him fix his car. So it can't be all bad. He hopes.

Summary
The ashes flow between his fingers like warm, fine sand on a summer’s day. There’s the smell of the sea, and the sound of waves, the sun piercing his eyelids. The warmth of a hug and bubbling laughter. A rush of adrenaline then the crash of a wave. He feels heavy, like his bones are made of lead. His lungs, as hard and unyielding as metal, stop him from breathing. His heart skips three beats in a row and he’s lost between panic and a heart attack. He feels pins and needles over his limbs, like thousands of ants consuming his flesh. And then there’s nothing for a long while.
The sound of the wind is the first to return, then the crickets, then the frantic, loud beating of Stiles’ heart. He falls to his knees with tears running down his face, like grief and confusion. Like something reached inside him and took from it a little shard of his soul. He manages to get on all fours before being sick on the forest ground. He wipes his mouth, the tears from his eyes and the sweat from his brow with shaky hands and tries to stand. He wobbles, but stays up, then he looks around. The Nemeton is dark and rotten. On top of it lies Derek’s naked form.

Stiles drives home to Beacon Hills without realizing it. On the road for almost 40 hours of driving, a few hours of truck stop sleep, and about a thousand gallons of coffee and energy drinks. Stiles sees the welcome to Beacon Hills sign and then pulls over to the first bar he sees.
Derek has had a long day between the Hale Garage and helping out Sheriff Stilinski, he's exhausted and starving. He pulls into the bar because it's the only place open this late that he can get a decent burger to go.

Following Smoke and Mirrors, everyone's in Wakanda now. Time to air it all out and start to figure out where to even begin fixing the cracks. There's a lot of work to get done, and the Legacies aren't feeling like making it easy for Team Cap. T'Challa hopes his home survives the drama.
Beyond that, events are set in motion past Wakanda's borders that are equally worth worrying about - Red Skull's slipped away, the Accords are still up in the air, and the UN are not the only ones very interested in discovering where a large majority of their superheroes have disappeared to. Alone on US soil, Rhodey and Vision have to man the home front until a decision is reached on what happens after Wakanda.
