Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Summary
There shouldn’t have been much to it beyond what he was used to dealing with. It was supposed to be like any other obstacle he’s overcome. Get there, get it done, and get out.
That’s how it should’ve gone.
What he failed to consider, most probably, is that the untold mystery of this Scenario lead deeper into the lore of Ways of Survival than he could ever guess and in its center, a devastatingly powerful man with more relevance to the overall plot that Kim Dokja wanted to find tls123 and shake them silly.
At the time, though, he could only be described as a reader. How was he to know what his presence in the distant Worldline entailed for the whole of it all?
It was as [The Fourth Wall] said; he was set to fail the minute he compared the greedy protagonist to Yoo Joonghyuk.

“Uh,” Moomintroll said, and then because he didn’t even know where to begin, decided to keep his question simple. “What is happening?”
They both stared at him as though he was completely stupid.
“Isn’t it obvious enough?” Snorkmaiden asked.
“Oh, my Moomintroll,” Snufkin said, and Moomintroll had no idea how to deal with hearing Snufkin say that. “You can be slow sometimes.”
Snorkmaiden flickered a few more colours. Snufkin didn’t let go of his paws. Moomintroll stared at them both, still utterly at a loss.
Little My threw a handful of raspberry crumble at his head.
“They’ve swapped bodies, you great useless marshmallow.”
