Summary
The aftermath of the First World War was far more detrimental than any country had expected. The Allied Powers gained access to nuclear weapons in secret, leaving the entire globe in disarray. A mass societal collapse follows, causing governments to fall apart and leaving citizens to fend for themselves. They're forced to create their own civilizations, protecting each other and advancing at their own pace.
Hilal stumbles upon an unconscious young man, who appears to be severely wounded. In bringing him back to her campsite, she runs the risk of endangering her family and her heart.
