Summary
All his life, people have been forgetting how strong Eiji is. He remembers coaches and teachers commenting on his baby-rounded face yet muscled physique, remembers people calling him a kid despite being older than them. Ash did that many times!
But Ash never forgets. How could he? Those hands were so powerful but so kind, so gentle. They never took from him, always willing to give.
Or, five times Eiji exhibits surprising physical prowess as a former-pole vaulter, seemingly shocking everyone around him, and one time his strength isn't a surprise at all. Rather, it's a blessing to Ash Lynx. Always has been. It's warm, and familiar, and a perfect illustration of 'home'.
