Summary
Ever since that one feast she had attended when she was a girl, Lily Redwyne has set her eyes only upon one person: Cregan Stark. For years, she filled the Arbor with feasts, music, and wine, sending raven after raven to the North in hopes that Cregan Stark would one day come south. Yet Winterfell always refused. The North had its duties, not just to the North but to the Realm. After the Dance of the Dragons leaves the realm bleeding and the news of Cregan Stark arriving to King’s Landing, Lily sees her chance at last. So she sends out another invitation. One last chance and hope that he'll finally visit The Arbor and attend the feast.
A slow-burn tale of longing, distance, and the North’s cold wolf entering the warm courts of the Reach.

Summary
Prince Maekar Targaryen never expected to wed again. He had no intention of seeking a second wife. He had done his duty—he had sons, four of them, to secure both his legacy and the future of House Targaryen.
That all changed the night he met Leonora Evergreen at Greenrest Hall, during the celebration of her eighteenth nameday.
Their meeting was not planned. Or perhaps it was—though certainly not by Maekar himself. Some would later say the gods had a hand in it, that their paths had been set long before either of them drew breath.
This is the story of Prince Maekar Targaryen and his second wife, Leonora Evergreen—their beginning, and all the moments in between: laughter, jealousy, misunderstandings, and joy.
Beginning in 206 AC, before the Tourney at Ashford Meadow.
(This work can be read as a complete story, but is structured as a series of interconnected one-shots exploring Maekar and Leonora’s life together. Tags will be added as the story progresses.)

Summary
A second marriage is not always a second chance.
For Alerie Redwyne, it is duty dressed in silk. For Prince Maekar Targaryen, it is another burden laid upon old grief. Neither comes to the marriage willingly, and neither expects comfort from the other.
But the dead do not loosen their hold easily, and the living are not always wise enough to keep their distance.

When your land is plagued by wars and death becomes an everyday thing, your hands learn to become more stable than a maester's.
You learn to look into the eyes of a killer and understand forgiveness. You learn that justice is a heavy sword to be carried.
But when you meet a Targaryen Prince burdened by duty and grief, your souls vibrate to the same frequency. And perhaps, the world is not as dark as you both originally thought.

Summary
In the wake of the Tourney at Ashford Meadow, Prince Maekar realizes his sons are not what he hoped they would be. With Aegon squiring for a hedge knight, and Aerion exiled across the Narrow Sea, Daeron is the last to face his father's wrath. Maekar decides that since Daeron cannot be left to his own devices, he needs a wife to manage him. There is no better candidate than Lady Elinor Tyrell, the maiden daughter of war hero and legendary jouster, Leo Longthorn.
