Summary
My intention is for this series to be supplemental to the Heated Rivalry TV series. Each work will be a stand-alone perspective of either Shane or Ilya (and probably a few cameos by ancillary characters) throughout the series. Everything written will always be canon-compliant with the TV show. Any future references I might use from the books may not remain canon compliant if the TV show heads in a different direction. But I don't expect to be writing that far into the future for that to be an issue.
I am essentially trying to both expand the episode and go deeper into themes, rationales, and actions of the characters. For a multimedia type experience, readers could read these while watching the actual episodes; I do that when I'm writing.

Summary
Castiel was one of those Parents the other teachers referred to as a "hot mess" but Dean just thought he was hot, even if he did come off as kind of a dick sometimes.
When an accident lands him in the ER Dean comes face to face with his biggest crush when he discovers Cas is his nurse. It seems like fate that he manages to strike up a friendship with the father of some of his favorite students. But with Castiel still bitter over the way his ex used him up and then left him with nothing but 3 young kids to raise on his own he may be guarding his heart with too much caution to let someone new in.
Dean will have to find a way to thaw the ice around Cas' heart or risk letting his chance at happiness slip through his fingers.

Summary
When Dean finds Castiel standing on the wrong side of the bridge railing in the pouring rain, he takes him home. He finds himself caring for the man as a replacement for his younger brother, but when Cas gradually reveals what led him to contemplate suicide Dean realises that they can't ignore his past, and takes steps to help Cas heal and move on. As Dean becomes more aware of how our pasts can affect us, and as his old trauma resurfaces, he – albeit reluctantly - starts to open up to Cas about his own past. What starts out as a friendship born of loneliness and desperation grows into something more as they are drawn closer to each other over time, and slowly help each other to mend.
(The tags probably make this sound more depressing than it's going to be.)

Summary

Next thing Dean knows is that he is promoted to privat secretary of Castiel Novak - head of the company. Apparently Dick Roman wants to destroy the city and take over the world. For some reason Castiel has chosen Dean to help prevent him from that. But behind those pretty blue eyes lies something dark. If Dean isn't careful, he'll risk drowning in them.
