That particular scene on the other side of the Tarot card was one Percy had become familiar with, as it was once Rachel’s favourite to bullshit him and Annabeth with- well, at least before Percy has came out, anyway: A pair of lovers were entwined on the cheap card, matching pairs of Snow White angel wings blotting the pink sky. Both of them were completely nude, which was odd for a children’s set, but since it was for artistic purposes Percy supposed it could be given a pass.
"Hmm." Rachel stroked her chin, ruminating with all the sagely essence of a qualified squirrel, perhaps.
"One of us is gonna meet our soulmate by the end of this year. Sounds like a blast."
Huh.
Sounded more exhausting than anything else.
