His hand came up to his face, pinching the bridge of his nose as he let out a long, controlled exhale.
“I know, I know, I’m sorry, Redfield,” you said, frowning as you lowered your pistol to your side.
“I don’t care if you’re sorry,” he cut in immediately. “Do you want to die out there?”
You shook your head quickly, setting the pistol down on the table with a quiet clink.
“No, sir.”
