"Like Lion King?" Carl asked, confused with his mouth full of Skittles.
"EXACTLY!" Grace shouted. "The system is out of balance! The stars are plants, and the Astrophage is a Herbivore. What we need is,- Hey, are you eating my Skittles?" Ryland paused. "How many of these did you eat? That's my personal stash; buy your own!"
Carl waved him off, "Herbivore, balance something, keep going."

A Coltland twin AU in which Ryland found a way to solve the Astrophage crisis before the Hail Mary is even complete. The planet is saved, but now there is a new target on Ryland's back, and what that will mean for his life and the lives of his loved ones he has yet to figure out.

Summary
The arrival at Erid is a momentous occasion. Rocky is excited and thrilled. Ryland is overwhelmed. But the reunion is happy, beautiful, amazing.
Or that's what it should have been. Except Rocky gets hurt, Ryland is left to try and communicate with an alien planet, and everyone is scrambling to figure out how to do this. To Grace, this is incredible but also bittersweet - he got Rocky home safely with the taumoeba, now he just gets... to starve. To Erid, this is insane - how did Rocky show up in an alien spaceship with a child???

Ryland Grace is stuck trying to speak Eridian, immediately makes himself sound like a child, and Rocky's world and family scramble to help this strange pebble. Misunderstandings galore, alongside hurt/comfort and angst and fluff.

"What Dazai is generously summarizing," Mori said smoothly, "is that your role is to establish yourself within the League of Villains as a dealer. Introduce the bullet into their network." He paused "Once the heroes become aware of a quirk-suppression weapon, they'll want the source."
"Which is me," Dazai said, from where he'd gone back to examining the ceiling. "And once they want the source badly enough, they stop trying to hunt me and start trying to recruit me. And then —" he spread one hand, "— I'm inside UA, exactly where I need to be."

Regarding how hard it is to get into UA, Dazai’s blood is introduced into the market in a form of a bullet that erases quirks momentarily, in hopes it grabs at the hero’s attention (it does)

Ryland Grace never wanted to have sex, but that choice was taken from him. Despite it all, he could never regret his daughter. She's the best thing that's ever happened to him, and, in his very much objective opinion, the best thing that's ever happened to Planet Earth.
Eva Stratt is NOT the best thing that has ever happened to Planet Earth. But Earth needs Eva Stratt anyway, and Eva Stratt needs Ryland Grace. His offspring certainly complicates things, but when has 'complicated' ever stopped her?

Summary
Grace makes the brave and long trip back to Earth alone, but with more knowledge than humans could ever dream of.
But home isn’t what it used to be; the people he knew and loved have long since gone. And the one left have evolved in more ways than one. Heros, Villain and Aliens are a common thing around Earth nowadays apparently.He learns that after the launch of the Hail Mary, Strat did in fact do her time in jail, the rest of her life technically. But even from there she still was one on the most powerful figures on Earth, bars be dammed.
All her knowledge and power was applied to SHEILD and that’s who took over and completed the final step of the Hail Mary mission. Or so they thought until Grace comes home.Grace just wants to be somewhat healthy again, eat food that isn’t his cloned meat or alien poop, send intergalactic messages to Rocky and receive a reply back in a week, and go back to teaching. So that’s exactly what he does.
Along the way however, SHEILD meddles, the Avengers assemble, and Grace? He just wants a good nap if he’s being honest.
