Soft taps and murmurs were cut short, the first Peridot freezing mid-sentence with one hand raised to her screen. “Apologies, Your Radiance, I had not realised you have already recovered your mental capacities. You are at White Diamond’s personal research facility,” she rushed to say with a salute, a Diamond salute.
Did I accidentally possess someone again? he thought, looking down at himself, and frowned. It was him, down to his body and clothes. Except, he then belatedly realised: it was pink, everything, his shirt, jeans, sandals—even his skin was a light pink, more subtle in its opalescence.
“Why do I look like this?”
“It appears your form is mimicking the orga—“
“Why am I pink?”
“Oh.” Finally, the Peridot resumed her work, once more typing something on her screen. “Despite being awake, the subject still appears to be confused."[In which I wrote my own version of the trial]

Realizing that her actions have mentally scarred Spinel, she attempts to save Spinel the heartache by having her play a new game: Play Pretend. Pink Diamond, now known as Rosie, finally takes Spinel away from her loneliness. Spinel becomes a Crystal Gem in a post-gem war Earth, and devotes herself entirely to Rosie's happiness.

Death sees this as a chance to plead their case, asking for Loki to go through the trials needed to become the Master of Death. In order to stop Thanos, Loki would agree to anything, knowing what is coming, and so he does. Hera Potter grows up not knowing who she'd been, what she is expected to go through, or that she's already fighting for something greater than herself. As the barriers fall between this life and the last, Hera will have to navigate through who she was to stay who she is. She was Loki once, but she is more than that now, and she will fight to keep it and the life she's made. If that means flinging her soul across time and space, or using the knowledge she has to navigate through a future she should not know, she'll do it. Who is Thanos to threaten everything she loves? Who is Dumbledore to think a child should be responsible to win a war? And where does Odin get off thinking he had any say at all?
