Summary
The second anniversary of the end of the Fourth Shinobi War is upon the residents of Konoha. What better way to celebrate than with a festival and 'How Well You Know Your Partner Competition'? The winners of said competition get a two-week free stay at the new resort island in The Land of Tea; home of what boasts to be 'The World's Best Curry'.
Rock Lee is determined to get Hyuuga Neji to compete with him in the couple's competition and try this 'world class' curry for himself. The only problem? They're not a couple, and Neji has been hiding things from him. Seeing this as a way to strengthen their bond, he wears his stoic teammate down and enrols them as 'friends'.
Meanwhile, Neji is left reeling after the Branch Family Seal is removed and they are granted never-before-seen freedom. He doesn't know how to feel about it. What he -does- know is that once he opens up about one thing, all the other secrets will likely spill out. Including the guilt of being in love with his teammate despite how horribly Neji treated him at the start.
What started off as a fun and silly activity to do together as teammates, turns into something much deeper and more profound than either of them bargained for.

Truth was, life was boring. Kakashi couldn’t say his relationship with Gai had ended with a bang or a whimper or even ended at all. Hell, he wasn’t even sure it had ever properly started. Try as he might to fit this puzzle into an Icha Icha Romance narrative, all his mind could piece together was this: the story of a childhood friendship growing into something messy under their circumstances and then wasting away in their twenties, gradually crushed under the weight of their inadequacies.
Kakashi returns from the Land of the Waves, exhausted and triggered.
Meanwhile, Gai is satisfied with how his team is doing.
They both sign their kids up for the chuunin exams, and find themselves interacting again after months of awkward distance.
The events that unfurl take them, and their relationship, to an even rockier place.Kakagai-centric retelling of Naruto from after the Land of Waves to right before Shippuden.

When he was younger, he’d overhear boys his age talking about women they saw in movies that they desperately wished to see naked; as an adult, he’d overhear his men talking about how their latest roll in the sheets made them think they saw god.
And Gaara just — didn’t get it.
He doesn’t get hard looking at a chest, regardless of whether it belongs to a man or woman. He doesn’t see a person on the street or in the movies and wonder what they look like naked; and even if he did, it wouldn’t get him hard or desperate for touch. If anything, he supposes it would probably just make him uncomfortable.
And yet.
And yet.
(or, Naruto, once again, proves to be the exception)

Son Goku thinks he is going crazy. Some time after the fusion with Vegeta, he keeps having thoughts and flashbacks of the older man in his head. Things that didn't bother him before suddenly disturb him. Dreams haunt him at night and he can no longer cope with himself. So he disappears, looks for a hut in the mountains, cancels his aura and tries to find himself again. When winter arrives and he thinks he has himself under control again, his friends visit him one by one. But it is only the last visit that brings clarity and the realisation that the cold can sometimes be warm.
