If it was the twenty-first of October in his third year, that meant that with the leftover days in October, plus November, adding the two and a half weeks of classes that would mark the end of the academic year in December before Christmas, all added up to less than two months. The rest of December would be down time, and then his fourth year would start up on January third, and everything would go relatively smoothly until the destruction of Vulcan on March third. This all gave him… just a little over four months to get his act together before Nero showed up and everything went haywire.

It's been over a year since Rome, since they stopped the world ending (and Napoleon didn't realise how often he'd have to do that now), since Napoleon made a choice and threw a watch across the room instead of pulling a gun. Since then, it's been one mission after another, and Napoleon and Illya have gone from reluctant partners to friends to possibly something more.
Napoleon can’t even remember what they talked about. What he remembers is Illya sitting on his couch, a finger or two of vodka in his glass and an amused quirk to his lips. What he remembers is sitting opposite him in his armchair, suit jacket slung over the back and waistcoat unbuttoned. He rarely lets his persona drop, but around Illya he can’t seem to help it.
What he remembers is making Illya laugh and thinking: Oh. How did I not see this coming?Now it might all be too late, and he didn't think it would end like this: Illya lying in the street, ash and blood and Napoleon's name on his lips.

The Enterprise's transporters malfunction, yet again, and Spock ends up in the Mirror 'verse with the decidedly flirty and dangerously attractive Mirror Kirk.
He is in love with his own Captain, who seems unattainable. His controls might not last long enough to see him through until the transporters are fixed back on his own ship, especially when Mirror Kirk seems content to push them.
Meanwhile, Jim has to deal with Mirror Spock, and find a way to fix the transporters.

Captain Kirk is scheduled to beam down to a new planet to establish a trade agreement with the Federation. However, a raging ion storm interferes with the transporter and Jim finds himself in an alternate reality where he is immediately apprehended by strange aliens. In this reality the Federation is non-existent and instead replaced with a brutal Empire and the crew of the Enterprise is part of a rebel faction fighting against its tyranny. Before he is executed Jim is rescued by a familiar Vulcan. It becomes apparent this universe's Kirk and Spock had a strong connection where his own efforts to befriend the Spock of his universe had been rebuffed. Jim strikes a deal with this Spock to help him find a way to return to his universe in exchange for helping the Vulcan locate the missing Captain and crew of this alternate reality. But the longer he stays and the closer he grows to this Spock will he really want to go back?Bookmarked by Azureus

Enterprise and its crew are over a year into their five-year mission, and despite a rocky start, their captain and first officer have become a command team befitting Starfleet's flagship on the bridge and easy friends off of it. When Jim reveals that he's gone to the effort of learning Vulcan for Spock's sake, Spock decides he must find a way to show Jim how much he appreciates his friendship, and goes to McCoy for advice. The good doctor has just the thing.
HIATUS: I should have added this sooner, but due to serious health issues, my progress on this fic has slowed significantly. My interest hasn't waned, and I continue to work on it when I have the energy, but I have no idea when I'll get the next chapter finished.
