Summary
Hank was going to pop a blood vessel, he was fucking sure of it. The past week had been filled with that androids creepily human tone asking “may I ask you a personal question?”, and this last one pushed Hank over the fucking edge.
“For fucks-“ Hank sighs under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Fine, but only if I can ask one in return.” And Hank could’ve sworn Connor perked up slightly at his sudden interest in the android. It gave him the creeps, and for not the first time in the last hour Hank wished for a beer. He cursed his fucking detective senses for already profiling the android and noticing the slight changes in his body language.
OR
Hank's curiosity gets the better of him, and he decides to try and push Connor to Deviancy. But he doesn't realise how unprepared Connor and he are for Connor's humanity, and it may lead to a closer bond than either expected.

Summary
Connor had been saying stuff like that a lot lately, things that made it sound like they were in a relationship rather than just friends. He constantly referred to Hank as his partner, even if the situation didn’t call for that sort of terminology. He always answered questions about plans with things like “we will be there.”
We.
Always.
Hank didn’t mind it, aside for the fact it made his heart ache that Connor spoke of them in a way that he badly wished was true.
Also known as - Five times Hank thought he should really talk to Connor about his constant flirting, and the one time he finally got it.

Summary
Hank wondered, faintly, what Connor did when they weren’t together. He wondered if Connor ever thought about him, worried about him. He wondered if Connor knew he was still drinking even after the rude awakening on his kitchen floor.
He wondered why he cared what Connor thought, anyway.
Being lonely was a funny thing, it had a way of taking your relationships with others and turning them into a life-raft in the distance.
Connor was something new to focus on, but Hank had been drowning for years.
