His hand trembled as he held her steady, the heat of his skin seeping to her bones. "For fucks sakes Evans, you made a stupid call and you got lucky. Admit it."
She took a deep breath and pulled her hand away. “I’m not stupid Potter.”

“Youre implying it." She crossed her arms. "Travers is short tempered, reactive and calculating. Malfoy keeps him around because he gets the job done and does a decent job at it. You don’t really think I expected him to stand by and let me pass him, did you? Without putting up a fight?”
James’ furrowed his eyebrows, letting his hand fall back to his side.
Wisteria rolled her eyes. “I might not have known about magic most of my life or trained as long as most, but do not underestimate me Potter. If you think he’s fast? I’m faster.”
