After the Locian Revolution was won and the dust on the battlefields settled, Sergeant Rius Huntsmen turned to a life of crime, with Icarian A. Crowley, the charismatic captain of one of the most feared pirate ships to ever set sail on the seas, by his side. And he'd be lying if he said that he hated it, the thrill of thievery and the rush of nearly getting caught after a legendary heist. He was living the life.
Then Icarian was caught.
Now, Rius has to find his closest friend, and with only one place to turn to despite never meeting them before, he seeks help from Icarian’s crew; The Passerine, lead by Cassius Harrows, a quick-mouthed gunslinger that is ruthless to anyone who opposes him and frankly hates Rius' guts.

Ex-General Frey Haendstrom lives alone with his old dog, Boy, in the outskirts of a small countryside town called Hivranns, company nowhere to be seen. His wife dead and living alone, he one day sees a teenager outside his door, holding a map and saying that she wants him to travel with her to a treasure where no one has ever gone to. The hallucinations of his dead wife telling him to live a life and the memory of his long gone brother's words clinging to his soul, he begrudgingly agrees.
Luanne Gray, a lonesome cleric to the Gods, lives alone in the Freezing inside of an old cathedral with no one to guide her through life and divine bitter cold outside, only statues of deities and worn, timeless books as company. Seeing visions sent by an unknown force of a strange man with the title of 'Death-touched', Luanne goes to leave and finds a map to a long forgotten treasure. She journeys to the Blackened Deserts to find someone who can help her in this endeavour. Enter Frey Haendstrom, a grieving ex-general who she asks to help her.

Techno grunted, tilting his head thoughtfully, and sunk a hand down into the dark mud. He returned it back up after a moment, staring at the thick, silty earth spilling between his fingers to plop down at his hooves. “Can’t pick up blocks. Can’t access inventory, can’t punch trees—”
“Can’t punch trees?!”
“Can’t punch trees,” Techno continued, aggrieved. “I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s a one life world as well, since that would be about right. If we die, do you know if Kristen is going to pull us out?”
Philza frowned thoughtfully. “I’m not sure— I’d assume so, but I’m not gonna lie, I wouldn’t want to take the chance.”

Summary
It's been years since Doctor Ryland Grace saved Erid and Earth. He is content with his life, happy just to teach the next generation of Eridians and have the occasional game night with Rocky and Adrian in his dome. For the most part, nothing changes.
And that's the problem. Shouldn't Grace, y'know...age? When Rocky indicates that he should be sixty human years old by now, Grace can't reconcile the young face in the mirror with the time that his friend has religiously kept.
Things get more complicated when another undoubtedly human ship shows up at the edge of the 40 Eridani system. Suddenly Grace is playing ambassador between the two species, and tensions are rising between them.
