Koby smiles shyly and glances up for the first time. He’s immediately met with two serious stares, scarily intense. His expression falters, glancing uncertainly between Luffy and Zoro.
“What? Was it something I said?”
“Shanks didn’t save me,” Luffy says slowly. “Koby did.”
Koby blinks. “Huh?”
OR: Once Zoro and Luffy get the whole picture of what happened at Marineford from Koby, they take it upon themselves to thank him. Thoroughly.

“Dear god, is this what I sounded like?” Sakusa grumbled under his breath before patting Motoya’s head gently, albeit a bit awkwardly. “Well, I guess you could also fake your death.” He chuckled as he said this, but Motoya’s head popped up, causing Sakusa to quickly withdraw his hand.
“Kiyoomi. I need to fake my death.”
“Wha—no? Don’t do that?”
Motoya gripped his cousin’s hands, eyes pleading. “Please help me.”
