Summary
“Dante, I need your help.”
He plucked the magazine off of his face and was met with the sight of Lady holding a white haired baby. A very small and young baby. He blinked. Even with the obvious baby pudge the kid looked really familiar. His eyes went wide.
“Lady— You’ll have to marry me if you want my help. You know I can’t afford child support.”
...On a mission to Fortuna, Lady comes into custody of a baby Nero after learning of the truth behind the city's fair facade and the death of her employer, Nero's mother. All she can think to do is bring the child to his only living family, Dante, and figure out a plan from there. A plan involving a (fake) shotgun wedding, Dante surviving a car crash, and the hope that no one will think its weird they're trying to pass of a 1 month old as a newborn. It's a bit of a mess, but Dante doesn't have any better ideas.

Ilya Rozanov leaves Boston and signs with Ottawa, trying to fight a slow slide into emptiness and find meaning in his life again. Shane Hollander is a lonely, struggling artist who lost his spark. When they meet by chance, they both have to decide what's worth living for.
Or…Shane never gets the chance to become a pro hockey player, so they meet a little later in life. Basically, they’re both sad boys, but the healing will be worth it. More baggage, fewer hangups.
