Summary
Ryland Grace lived his whole life wondering why his soulstring stretched out all the way to the sky. It took him a one-way ticket to Tau Ceti, another one-way ticket to Erid, and a special delivery in the form of a bloody submarine to finally learn the answer. It is strange, though, how his soulmate never seems to address their soul string but has a habit of staring deep into his eyes.
AKA; A soulmate AU where Simon arrives on Erid five years after Grace did. The two of them learn how to heal from the past and feel excitement for a future they never expected to have. First two chapters are about Simon's arrival to Erid but the rest focuses on their personal growth, developing feelings for each other, and understanding of how soulmate systems works.

Summary
Colt and Ryland haven't been in contact for years, in fact Colt hasn't been in contact with his whole family for years. After being recruited during a movie where he had to fly multiple planes, they heavily criticized him for joining the navy like their dad. Too many traumatic memories were connected to the old man and his military discipline.
Now after all these years, he gets the order to escort a group of important officers and scientists to a secret base in the middle of the ocean. He isn't aware that his twin brother would be on the ship.
or:
Colt being a navy pilot, Ryland being recruited for a secret operation due to his (failed) academic career. There's an explosion of the ship, Colt disobeys orders and tries to rescue his brother. (Pre-mission Ryland from the movie, he was recruited while being a teacher)
