Normally, this wouldn’t happen. Not unless they fell in love like normal people or something, but quite frankly, that was never going to happen. A hunter and a vampire falling in love? Please. That was about as likely as pigs flying. Better suited for the movies than real life.
No, they both had the misfortune of being their respective councils’ sacrifices for a new treaty. Because someone had to be a shithead and kill someone they weren’t supposed to.
